The term Chemotherapy is used to describe general treatments that use chemical agents and other drugs to destroy cancer cells in the body. The word Chemotherapy, often shortened to just “chemo,” and it actually means that it affects the whole body by going through the bloodstream. In this therapy many different kinds of chemicals and drugs are used, either alone or in groups, to treat different kinds cancer cells. The specific drug or combination used is chosen to best combat the kind and extent of cancer present.

What is Chemotherapy and how does it work?

Chemotherapy drugs are generally injected in to the blood cells or delivered orally in the form of pills, depending on which type of drug is used. They go around the whole body and can stop or prevent the cancer-cells to spread where they are discovered in the body. For this reason doctors make use of this treatment when they expect, there might be cancer-cells in more than one portion of the human body. In case a few cancer cell rising for a while go unnoticed and untreated, they can very well grow to major tumor and spread to the near tissues. They can even spread to the vital organ like liver & lungs. A doctor can at best only slash out the major cancer tumor, and nearby tissue which are affected. The method and procedure of Radiotherapy that uses rays to remove cancer-cells, is only effective on small areas of the human body or otherwise it cause harm to a lot of healthy-cells.

So mostly after an operation is performed to remove cancer cell, chemotherapy is administered to wash-out or mop–up any leftover effected cells. There are a number of cancer-cells like leukemia, which require chemotherapy as they engage cells which start overall the human body. This therapy is followed by the doctors to get a tumor smaller so as to make it simpler for the doctor to remove it. For patients whose cancer-cells and spread is not curable cemotherapy can reduce the symptoms.

The work of Chemotherapy is to destroy cancer cells but unfortunately, it cannot distinguish the difference between a cancer cell and some healthy cells. So this therapy eliminates not only kills the fast-growing cancer cells but also other fast-growing healthy cells in our body which include hair and blood cells. So very often there are unwanted side effects of chemotherapy like:

1. Low white blood cell count
2. Low red blood cell count
3. Nausea
4. Low platelet count
5. Vomiting
6. Hair loss
7. Fatigue

Some of these side effects are temporary and quite uncomfortable. Mostly people fear chemotherapy because of these side effects. But over the last few decades many of these side effects have been successfully controlled. Some types of Chemotherapy have only some minimal side effects. So this therapy is very often the best option for a successful outcome.

Chemotherapy may be given at home or in a clinic or in a hospital. Depending on the type of cancer or on the type of drug the body responds to, the frequency of chemotherapy can be daily, weekly, monthly. The dosage of the drug given is calculated on the basis of the patient’s body weight and the drug’s toxicity. Leading cancer hospitals in India and Asia are equipped with latest drugs with clinical research back up for chemotherapy treatment. World Class chemotherapy treatment is offered at cancer hospitals in India, comparable with any of the western countries. India has state-of-the-art Hospitals and very well qualified doctors. With the best infrastructure, renowned possible Medical facilities, accompanied with the most competitive pricing, you can get the treatment done in India at very economical charges.

Medical tourism – the process of leaving home for treatments and care abroad (E.Singapore) or elsewhere domestically – is an emerging phenomenon in the health care industry. The Deloitte 2008 Survey of Health Care Consumers, a nationally representative, online survey of more than 3,000 Americans, found that outbound medical tourism is expected to experience explosive growth over the next three to five years.

Consider the following:
• The safety and quality of care available in many offshore settings is no longer an issue: Organizations
including the Joint Commission International (JCI) and others are accrediting these facilities.
• Health care costs are increasing at eight percent per year – well above the Consumer Price Index (CPI),
thus eating into corporate profits and household disposable income.
• Consumers are willing to travel to obtain care that is both safe and less costly. In fact, two in five survey
respondents said they would be interested in pursuing treatment abroad if quality was comparable and the
savings were 50 percent or more.
By contrast, inbound medical tourism and medical tourism across state lines will continue to be an interesting
opportunity for specialty hubs with treatments unavailable elsewhere in the world or in a community setting.

In 2007, an estimated 750,000 Americans traveled abroad for medical
care. As depicted in Figures 2 and 3, this number is estimated to
increase to six million by 2010.1,2 Accordingly, the base-case estimate
for the annual growth rate in outbound medical tourism is estimated
at 100 percent from 2007 to 2010. Increases beyond this time,
however, could be tempered by several factors:
• Supply capacity constraints in foreign countries
• U.S. health plans’ possible decision to not cover services provided
offshore
• U.S. providers’ possible decision to compete more aggressively
with outbound programs
• Potential government policies that might curtail demand.

In 2,000, the World Health Organization (WHO) ranked Singapore as the 6th best health care system in the world, much higher than the US, Canada or UK.
Hospitals and medical centers in Singapore are mostly government run or public facilities, while a few are privately owned like the Raffles and Parkway hospitals.
All Singaporean hospitals offer state-of-the-art healthcare services and facilities. They are serviced by English-speaking and US or Europe trained medical practitioners and staff.

Most hospitals and specialty centers in Singapore cater to international medical tourists, and practically all of them offer high end quality healthcare. Most major hospitals in Singapore have attained international accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI), ISO or OHSAS. In 2011, Singapore had 18 JCI accredited hospitals.

The heart muscle depends on a regular and optimum supply of oxygen to function properly. In turn, it pumps blood throughout the body. The oxygen supply to the heart is completed with the help of a system of coronary arteries. The blood flowing through the coronary arteries carries oxygen to the heart muscles. Sometimes deposits of substances like cholesterol, excess muscle cells, collagen and sometimes the accumulation of proteins on the inner walls of the arteries cause narrowing and hardening of these blood vessels. This process in medical term is known as “atherosclerosis”. Blockage of an artery in this way starves the heart of oxygen. If the blockage is mild only pain results. If severe, the part of the heart that is starved of oxygen actually dies—this is what we call a heart attack .

An Angioplasty is a medical procedure used to open a blocked coronary artery and improves blood flow to the heart. Sometimes after a heart attack, surgeons attempt to open up a clogged artery through a technique called ‘Balloon Angioplasty.’In balloon angioplasty, a long tube (catheter) with a balloon at one end is inserted through the groin and is guided to the clogged artery in the heart. At the site the balloon is inflated. The inflated balloon crushes the plaque (deposit) on the artery wall. The balloon is then deflated and withdrawn. Besides balloon angioplasty there is another technique called laser angioplasty in which a laser beam is used to cut through the plaque. After the procedure, your doctor may insert a device called a stent to keep the artery open for a longer period of time. In most cases, this procedure is safe and effective. If complications occur, they can include nausea, minor infections, and temporary pain.

What Is Angioplasty? Balloon angioplasty (also known as just angioplasty) is a procedure that allows your doctor to open blocked coronary arteries, which are the arteries that provide oxygen and nutrients to your heart muscle. In this procedure a balloon catheter (thin tube) is inserted into a blocked artery to remove the blockage. The blockage may be present in an artery in the arm, leg, or in the heart. The catheter is inserted into a blood vessel either at the elbow or groin. It is pushed through the inside of the blood vessel so that the tip of the catheter is at the point of the blockage in the artery. The narrowed artery is stretched by inflating a balloon at the tip of the catheter allowing blood to flow normally through the artery again. The doctor then removes the catheter and balloon. Often, an expandable device, called a stent, is inserted into your blocked artery after the procedure. Stents can help the artery remain open for a longer period of time. Your doctor’s choice to perform an angioplasty or insert a stent is based on the type and location of your blockage. In addition to being effective, this procedure is safe and well tolerated in most cases. The Question that must be striking in our mind is why To Select India for such Treatments ? Thailand offers World Class Medical Facilities, comparable with any of the western countries. Thailand has state of the art Hospitals and the best qualified doctors. Liposuction is a surgical procedure that sculpts your body by removing unwanted fat from specific areas, such as your buttocks, thighs and upper arms.

Liposuction (or lipoplasty) is a plastic surgery procedure that uses a combination of a vacuum and suction to remove fat in problem areas More..

Buttock Lift:
Butt Implants. It’s a cultural phenomenon that’s moving northward. “Buttock implants are very popular in South America, where Brazilian women want to have very round, curvaceous buttocks,” Wells tells WebMD. “Breasts are big here, but in Brazil, it’s buttocks.” The implants have a more “solid” covering than breast implants because they must sustain weight, he says. “There’s been an increasing interest from the public, so surgeons want to know more about them.”

Sub-mental lipectomy for double chin:
Ear Surgery (Otoplasty) for protruding ears Cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the external ear is often performed to repair cosmetic or defects resulting from injury. The most common procedure is otoplasty which is done to correct prominent (“dumbo”) ears in children. The goal of this type of surgery is to improve both the functional and cosmetic appearance of the ears. Frequently, psychological trauma is associated with such features.

Eyelids (Blepharoplasty) :
Got tired eyes or bags under the eyes? Then consider eyelid surgery. This procedure, called blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that reduces bagginess from lower eyelids and removes excess skin from the upper eyelids. The procedure involves the removal of excess skin, muscle and underlying fatty tissue.
While it is primarily a cosmetic procedure, blepharoplasty is also an effective method for improving sight in older patients whose sagging upper eyelids obstruct their vision.

Face lift :
A facelift is a surgical method that removes excess facial skin to make the face appear younger. However, the aging face not only loses skin elasticity and develops looser droopy skin, but also loses fat and muscle tone. Additional procedures which may be necessary to achieve the best results include: necklift, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), liposuction, autologous fat injection, removal of buccal (cheek) fat pad, forehead lift, browlift, chemical or laser peel, and malar (cheek), submalar or chin implants.

Hair Replacement :
Today’s options for hair growth have gone through a major evolution since 1952 when hair transplantation surgery was first pioneered. Treatments have shifted from unnatural-looking transplants to sophisticated new drugs and improvements in hair transplant surgery, and cloning individual hair cells. David Orentreich, MD, a professor of dermatology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, and others who specialize in the field of hair restoration say that the future looks even brighter than the present. Orentreich’s father Norman first pioneered hair transplantation surgery.

Laser Skin Resurfacing:
Laser resurfacing is a relatively new treatment for reducing facial wrinkles and skin irregularities, such as blemishes or acne scars. The technique directs short, concentrated pulsating beams of light at irregular skin. Laser skin resurfacing removes skin very precisely, layer by layer, resulting in fewer problems with hypopigmentation (lightening of skin). This popular procedure is known by several other names, including lasabrasion, laser peel or laser vaporization.

Liposuction (Lipoplasty) :
Liposuction is an option to remove small bulges that won’t budge and to improve your body’s shape. The areas most commonly treated include the hips, abdomen, thighs and buttocks and face. Liposuction does not remove cellulite, only fat. singapore plastic surgery Neck Lift (Platysmaplasty). Do you want to trick people into thinking you’ve lost a lot of weight? You might want to consider a neck lift. Oftentimes, people won’t even notice that your neck muscles, fat or skin has been surgically altered if you have a neck lift. Even though your neck can age before your face, Father Time is not always responsible for that appearance you’d like to undo. If you’ve lost a lot of weight, your neck may be taking its time to catch up. For others, it’s a matter of genetics. Whatever the reason, people young and old undergo neck lift procedures all the time. A neck lift is actually a set of procedures used to enhance the appearance of your neck. Cervicoplasty is the procedure used to remove excess skin. Platysmaplasty removes or alters neck muscles.

Reshaping or recontouring of the nose (Rhinoplasty):-
A rhinoplasty or nose job is a nose surgery procedure to reshape the bone, skin and cartilage of the nose. Rhinoplasty can be done for strictly cosmetic reasons, strictly medical reasons or at times combination of both.

Rhinoplasty can handle a variety of medical and cosmetic problems, including:
–Too large or too wide nostrils
–A nose size that is too large or too small
–Crookedness of the bridge of the nose
–Restricted breathing due to deformity or injury

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty):
Are sit-ups just not giving you the taut tummy you desire? If you’ve got a little too much flab or excess skin in your abdomen that won’t diminish with diet or exercise, you may want to consider an abdominoplasty, popularly referred to as a “tummy tuck.” This procedure flattens your abdomen by removing extra fat and skin, and tightening muscles in your abdominal wall.

Otoplasty – Ear Surgey:
Otoplasty/ear pinning is a procedure in which a plastic surgeon corrects such problems as oversized or protruding ears.

Otoplasty ear surgery is frequently performed on children. Because the ears usually reach almost their full adult size and shape during early childhood.

Otoplasty can be performed effectively and permanently as early as age 5-6. On average, the otoplasty surgery may take one two to three hours, depending on the specific steps your surgery requires.

The head of the femur bone, which is situated within the pelvis socket, is replaced with a metal ball and stem. This stem fits into the shaft of the femur.

This socket is then replaced with a plastic or a metal and plastic cup.

Hip replacement is indicated where conservative management has failed. Worldwide, more than 1 million hips are replaced annually. With careful patient selection and meticulous surgical technique, good long term results occur in over 90% of cases.

The surgical procedure
At the time of surgery, once the hip joint is exposed, the head and neck of the femur are removed. The shaft of the femur is then adjusted to accept the metal component consisting of the head, neck, and stem. After fixing the plastic cup the ball and socket are then replaced into normal position. Both of these implants can be fastened into the bone with or without using the special cement.

Cemented procedure
The cemented procedure utilizes a doughy substance mixed at the time of surgery that is introduced between the artificial component and the bone. This type of fixation in total hips remains the gold standard and is the method of choice for many surgeons. Depending upon their health and bone density, people over the age of 60 will receive this type of joint fixation.

Noncemented procedure
Despite its common use, not all individuals are candidates for a cemented hip. Studies show that young active adults tend to loosen their artificial components prematurely. The current trend therefore, is to use an artificial joint covered with a material that allows bone tissue to grow into the metal. A tight bond of scar tissue if formed, which anchors the metal to the bone. This is called a cementless total hip replacement.

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a most common type of bone disease, which happens due to breakage of bone tissues and loss of bone density. This word has come from Greek word osteon which means bone; and poros which means pores. Osteoporosis may lead to thinning of bones and later resulting in fractures, thus affecting mobility. The two essential minerals calcium and phosphate are responsible for bone production and when our body does not get enough calcium or is unable to absorb calcium from diet; formation of bone developing mineral is stopped and bone tissues starts breaking.

It is difficult to diagnose the disease at the early stage and when it gets diagnosed; it is generally too late. In most of the cases the patient is not even aware about the presence of this disease and when they come to know the disease reaches an advanced stage. Then the symptoms like tenderness of bones, fractures at low trauma, shortening of height, neck paining etc comes to light.

Many people have different views as per the main cause of Osteoporosis is concerned but old age is one of the main and most agreed factor in this bone disease. Due to improper intake or absorption of calcium, there is a gradual loss of bone density. This is when our body fails to produce required bone or old bone is reabsorbed by our body itself. Actually when we grow older our body’s calcium and phosphate gets reabsorbed into our body and thus making the bone tissues weak and brittle. They start breaking and severe pain starts in the body due to eventual severe damage.

Doctors after so many researches have classified osteoporosis into three types. Firstly, in type one; elderly women are the main sufferers. At the menopausal stage, it may be age factor or any other reason like Oophorectomy or estrogen hormone drops; the bone mineral density gets reduced. Then the amount and varieties of proteins in bone gets altered leading to deterioration of bone. The second type occurs after the age of 75 years and is seen in men and women both, in equal consistency. Drop of estrogen level in women and testosterone level in men are the cause for the development of this disease. And the third type is secondary osteoporosis, which also affects to men and women both equally. This form of osteoporosis results from chronic medical problems, or regular use of certain medications. There are some other causes for the occurrence of this disease like Rheumatoid arthritis, kidney problems, Hyperparathyroidism etc. Family history of this disease also has been found to be the cause in some of the cases of Osteoporosis.

Treatment of osteoporosis includes proper lifestyle modifications and medications. Lifestyle changes mean consumption of proper calcium enriched diet and exercises; and medication involves intake of sufficient vitamin D and calcium. During this treatment, doctor emphasizes on two basis points, slowing down bone mineral loss and controlling the pain. They give medicines to strengthen the bone and cover the lost amount of minerals. Bone mineral density testing (specifically a densitometry or DEXA scan) is an accurate way to find as to how much bone density someone has. Doctor advises blood and urine tests in case osteoporosis seems to have occurred due to other medical conditions and is not a usual bone loss due to old age. Regular and light exercises like walking, playing, yoga can reduce the risk of bone fractures in people with osteoporosis. Calcium, protein and vitamin D enriched diet are recommended for these patients.

The patients should quit smoking and alcohol consumption as these may damage our bones. Typical fragility fractures are the most dangerous aspect in osteoporosis, especially in vertebral column, rib, hip and wrist. A person suffering with this disease becomes physically weak, which subsequently affects his mental health also. This is a feeble type of disease and acute pain to elderly added by fractures, due to osteoporosis lead to disability. Proper caring and counseling may be helpful for the patients of osteoporosis. Today we are in advanced and modern stage and science and technology has developed manifold. We have developed many ways to handle this disease and the patients with care. It is must to check and follow up the bone mass index and bone mineral density from the age of thirty for women and fifty for men, respectively.

A proper guidance by a competent specialist will help you diagnose the cause and thus making the necessary lifestyle changes. However, if the osteoporosis is due to any other factor then detailed medical study is required. In either of the case the doctor’s or the specialists’ expertise is of utmost importance. The medical facilities in India have lead to improvement of the condition of many patients who were otherwise losing hope.

Knee replacement surgery is a technique that removes a diseased knee joint and replaces it with an artificial joint (prosthesis). One of the most common reasons for this operation is severe osteoarthritis, which causes relentless pain, joint deformity and mobility problems. Knee replacement surgery is known as ‘total knee arthroplasty’.

A unicompartmental knee replacement is at times used instead of a total knee replacement. This is when only one side of the knee has been damaged by osteoarthritis. Unicompartmental knee replacements involve smaller incisions, reduced bleeding, quicker recovery, and less bone loss than a total knee replacement.

 Knee replacement surgery procedure
During a knee replacement surgery, the bone and cartilage on the end of the thigh bone (femur) and top of the shin bone (tibia) are removed. This is performed using precision instruments to create exact surfaces to fit the implant. A metal and plastic knee replacement implant is then fitted in to function as a new knee joint. Based on the condition of the cartilage on the undersurface of the kneecap, this may also have to be replaced.

India offers World Class Medical Facilities, comparable with any of the western countries. India has state of the art Hospitals and the best qualified doctors. With the best infrastructure, the best possible Medical facilities, accompanied with the most competitive prices, you can get the treatment done in India at the lowest charges. Some common procedures for which international patient often travel to India are:
A total hip replacement: – also called a hip arthroplasty- is an advanced surgical procedure that re-structures the hip joint region.

Under this procedure the head of the femur (the bone that extends from the hip to the knee) is removed along with the surface layer of the socket in the pelvis (the two large bones that rest on the lower limbs and support the spinal column).

The surgical procedure:
At the time of surgery, once the hip joint is exposed, the head and neck of the femur are removed. The shaft of the femur is then adjusted to accept the metal component consisting of the head, neck, and stem. After fixing the plastic cup the ball and socket are then replaced into normal position. Both of these implants can be fastened into the bone with or without using the special cement.

Cemented procedure :
The cemented procedure utilizes a doughy substance mixed at the time of surgery that is introduced between the artificial component and the bone. This type of fixation in total hips remains the gold standard and is the method of choice for many surgeons. Depending upon their health and bone density, people over the age of 60 will receive this type of joint fixation.

Noncemented procedure:
Despite its common use, not all individuals are candidates for a cemented hip. Studies show that young active adults tend to loosen their artificial components prematurely. The current trend therefore, is to use an artificial joint covered with a material that allows bone tissue to grow into the metal. A tight bond of scar tissue if formed, which anchors the metal to the bone. This is called a cementless total hip replacement. Apollo Hospitals, Max Healthcare and Fortis Hospitals specialise in these kind of treatment. Some top medical tourism providers like India4Health.com, Mediscapes.com, AsiaHealth and IndiaHeals.com are helping the hospitals in this task.

Knee Replacement surgery:-
The knee in the human body is a hinge joint involving the thigh bone and the shin bone. Knee replacement surgery is a technique that removes a diseased knee joint and replaces it with an artificial joint (prosthesis). One of the most common reasons for this operation is severe osteoarthritis, which causes relentless pain, joint deformity and mobility problems. This is performed using precision instruments to create exact surfaces to fit the implant. A metal and plastic knee replacement implant is then fitted in to function as a new knee joint. Based on the condition of the cartilage on the undersurface of the kneecap, this may also have to be replaced.
Ten years ago, medical tourism was hardly large enough to be noticed but nowadays Medical Tourism is fast becoming a worldwide, multibillion-dollar industry, whereby people from world over visit Asia for their medical and relaxation needs.

Medical tourism is a term coined which covers patients travelling across the globe for tourism purposes clubbing their requirements for treatment of acute illness, elective surgeries such as cardiology, hip replacement, knee replacement, etc. The Government is taking serious initiatives in this regards and plans to start overseas marketing of India as a medical tourism destination. The government of India is of the opinion that by marketing India as a global medical tourism destination, it could capitalise on the
low-cost, high-quality medical care available in the country.

India, touted as one of the favourite destinations for information technology majors, is currently emerging as the chosen destination for medical or health tourism. The Government of India, State tourism boards, travel agents, tour operators, hotel companies and private sector hospitals are exploring the medical tourism industry for tremendous opportunities. They are seeking to capitalise on the opportunities by combining the country’s popular leisure tourism with medical tourism.

Industry projections? Statistics estimate that the medical tourism industry in India is currently worth $333 million (Rs 1,500 crore) while a study by CII-McKinsey estimates that the country could well earn Rs 5,000-10,000 crore by the year 2012. The Indian medical tourism industry, growing at an annualised rate of 30 percent, caters to patients chiefly from the US, Europe and Africa. Although in its nascent stage, the industry is outpacing similar industries of other countries such as Greece, South Africa, Jordan,
Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore. In the year 2004, Approx 1,50,000
medical tourists have visited India.

What makes it so attractive? Primary is the cost factor. The medical costs in India are a fraction of the costs in the US/Europe. For instance, a heart surgery costs $6,000 in India as against $30,000 in the US. Similarly, a bone marrow transplant costs $26,000 in India as compared to $2,50,000 in the US. Foreign patients throng Indian hospitals to pass up
the long waiting lists and queues in their native countries. The NHS patients in UK have to wait for months for Hip/Knee replacements surgery. Indian hospitals provide immediate attention to patients rather than asking them to wait for several months like in most western countries.

India’s top notch private hospitals like Apollo, Fortis, Max HealthCare have gained international recognition for their state-of-the-art facilities and diagnostic centres besides unsurpassed technical skills. Their technology and procedures are state of the art and on par with hospitals in developed nations. Foreign patients can get attractive package deals
including flights, transfers, hotels, treatment and post-operative vacation for their medical visits to India. India has some world class SPAs and Ayurvedic facilities which help recuperation and healing.

Patients from around the globe are beginning to realize the enormous potential of modern and traditional Indian medicine.

The Republic of India is located in South Asia, and is the seventh largest country in the world in terms of area and has the world’s largest democracy. The Indian economy is the fourth largest in the world in terms of purchasing power parity and is the world’s second fastest growing economy. And what makes India one of the most favored destinations for tourists across the world, is perhaps its distinctive flavor varying dramatically from region-to-region, its magnificent landscapes, scenaries, glorious historical monuments and royal cities, vast coastal line, snow capped mountains, colorful people, rich culture, year-long festivities and
more. So get you down to India, and discover a whole new way of life. But beyond the scenaries and historical momuments there is a new developed India that is coming up now a days.

Today India offers World Class Medical Facilities, comparable with any of the western countries. India has state of the art Hospitals and the best qualified doctors. With the best infrastructure, the best possible Medical facilities, accompanied with the most competitive prices, you can get the treatment done in India at the lowest charges.

There is no doubt that the Indian medical industry’s main appeal is low-cost treatment. Most estimates claim treatment costs in India start at around a tenth of the price of comparable treatment in America or Britain. For example, in April Madras Medical Mission, a Chennai-based hospital, successfully conducted a complex heart operation on an 87-year-old American patient at a reported cost of $8,000 (€7,000, £4,850) including the cost of his airfare and a month’s stay in hospital. The patient claimed that a less
complex operation in America had earlier cost him $40,000. Other procedures such as diagnostic services offer significant cost-savings.

The health care sector in India has witnessed an enormous growth in infrastructure in the private and voluntary sector. The list of India Best Hospitals include Apollo, Fortis, Max Healthcare, Escorts, AIIMs, Wockhardt, etc. A few top Medical tourism providers are India4health, Asiahealth, MedicalSingapore, ThaiMediHealth, MalaysiaMediTravel and Indiaheals. are helping the hospitals in this task. The private sector which was very modest in the early stages, has now become a flourishing
industry equipped with the most modern state-of-the-art technology at its disposal. It is estimated that 75-80% of health care services and investments in India are now provided by the private sector.

With time more and more visitors will flock to this part of the globe for
their treatment and relaxtion needs.
